Last year i posted this post, Christmas Through the Years.

I love looking through the family Christmas photos that we take every year. They go back further than 2010 too. We have ones with just Golden Boy before Little girl was born and my Hubby and i took them before we had kiddos.

Something Fun

So for Christmas this year, one of Little girl's gifts was to get her ears pierced.

We were in New Orleans for Christmas spending time with my family so i wrapped up my baby earrings that i had my ears pierced with when i was 3 months old, and told her that we would go and get them done when we got home.

despite the craziness with the house i knew that we need to get her to get them done. i got everything lined up for her to have the pierced and this was her face when i told her that we were going that day. (this all happened on January 2nd) 

we headed up to get them done. she said that she had butterflies in her tummy. she was nervous.

the lady was very sweet with her. she marked her ear to show us where they would be placed.

my niece had her ears pierced a few years ago and Little girl wanted her there to watch. 

i think she was pretty pleased with they way they turned out even though it hurt.

here is what she chose. i just love her cute little ears with earrings in.

Christmas Through the Years

Here are our Christmas Cards since becoming a family of four but we have them back as far as the year we got married. I love looking back at all of these. they are so much fun.

she is everything that i am not and yet we are so much alike too

I am so thankful that she came up to me (the new, shy girl) at church 28 years ago.

i don't get to see her face nearly as much as i would like to but am so thankful that i got to see her not only once, but twice during Christmas break. 

she knows me and loves me anyway

she gets me the past and the present

our daughters got to meet for the first time this Christmas

we talked about how they can be pen pals and stay in touch.

Adventure 52

this year was the first year that my sister and brother in law were in their new house and it was her year to have Christmas at her house. it was a lot of fun being all together and eating some yummy food and watching the kids play.

one of little girls favorite things was to get a make over from Aunt LC.

I can't believe that this year of Adventures has come to an end. it was a blast playing along. I am so glad that I did. thanks Lily
