Overlooked #3

the subject for overlooked #3 was your fridge. something in it, the whole inside, the outside. so here is mine and what i have to say about the firdge and some about grocery shopping.

see the picture at the top (the wallet sized one) of the baby in the orange and blue...that's my baby boy.

the top of our fridge is covered in pics of fam and friends, held on with mags of places me and my hubby have been

we usually go to the grocery store once a week, on the weekend. i have a love/hate relationship with the grocery store. we usually go to walmart or publix.
lists....i love to write lists. something about crossing of the things i've done or gotten. like i've accomplished something in buying milk that week. (pathetic i know.) i also like coupons and try to use them as much as possible. saving every little bit helps.
yoplait...this is something we buy every weekend.
faves:
orange cream
lemon burst
vanilla
strawberry banana

the row of mags that start with the strawberries and end with the little people are mags that were on my hubby's nana's fridge. the wooden round one at the end is the one that we bought on our honeymoon. and the states are some of the states that my hubby and i have been to.

Overlooked #2

the subject for overlooked #2 was something that you collect. the first thing that came into my mind was my matchbook collection.
i started to collect my matchbooks about 6 years ago.
at first they were matchbooks from restaurants that my hubby and i went to. then i started to find small bags of them at thrift stores and antique shops and couldn't pass them up.
my favorite matchbooks are some that my parents gave me from K&B drug store. it was a store in NOLA that we went to a lot when we were growing up.
my most memorable matchbooks are ones that my hubby and i got from Las Vegas. we went to a lot of the casinos the got the matchbooks.
right now my matchbooks sit in two glass jars on top of my book shelf in the den.

Overlooked #1

i stumbled onto this really cool blog called Overlooked check it out.
the blog owner, ashley, gives you a subject to take a pic of, then gives you ideas about that specific subject, and then you scrap, journal or blog it, something.
the first subject was your coffee mug or drink of choice.
it's really neat idea and it's fun seeing other people's creative ideas with there pics.
i'm not the best photographer but i try. here is my first overlooked attempt.
i love looking at scrapbookers creative ideas and all but i'm trying to do one for baby boy and don't really have the time to do one for me either so i am just going to post them here on my blog and maybe journal them in a notebook as well.
