Snow-mageddon 2018

Our Snow day turned into two days and a two hour delayed start today.

Tuesday we woke up and had breakfast and then played a Monopoly game with the kids.

once that was over we had a little bit of snow that we could go out in.

after my little bit out in it, i went in the start lunch and Little girl called from the door that she needed my phone. she wanted to make a picture of something she made. she went out and took the pictures but i didn't look at it until the next day. 

i just love her cute snow angle. she is so creative. i loved that she used her hat on it and have the angle a face and lashes. 

she pays attention to detail and i just love it.

Snow day

you wouldn't believe that just a few weeks ago we had snow but it is true.

the kids got our of school early and no lie, not too much later the show started to fall.

we are usually sleeping when the snow is coming down and we wake up to a winter wonderland to play it but this year we were able to watch it fall and it was magical.

it was confusing for the kids though because all that they wanted to do was play in it.

they were in and out for a while and it accumulated enough for some play time. the next morning after a big breakfast they were ready to go again.

Snow days

Over the past two weeks we have had maybe one full day of school because of snow days.

there is just something magical about falling snow. it was so much fun to watch it falling and then go be able to go out in it.

 

 these pictures starts the second snow day that we had. it didn't start to come down until around 2 and it snowed until 10 that night

 

 this is the next morning after the 8 hours of snow

 

and we played in it pretty much all day

it quickly started to melt that day and then it was still around the next day even though everyone went back to school. it was fun but I am ready for warmer weather.

and guess what.....they are calling for another snow this week. oh how I wish it would all just go away

he really didn't like it. he doesn't like really cold things.

my mom had the idea of taking some snow inside for little guy to play with. he really liked that. good thought honey. :)
