Books I'm Reading this Month

I have been reading through this beauty with my daughter. we read the first one and really loved it so she was excited when i told her there was a second one.

I picked this one up from the library on a whim. I thought it was in my to read list, but it was actually just one that i saw floating around the book world but never added it to my to read list. it was just sitting right there on the shelf waiting for someone to pick up, so i did. it has been pretty funny too.

well technically with this one it is being read to me. the author, Andrew Peterson, has been reading it on Facebook live every evening so i am following along.


and finally this lovely book.  i saw it talked about in a few places so added it to my to read list. i have had two people tell me that it is one of their favorite reads so far in 2020. i am pretty sure that i would have chosen it, if i happen to see it on a shelf in the book store becasue of the cover itself.

Today, Ruth and Troy Simons book Foundations makes its way into the world.

It is lovely and full of such beautiful truths. 

You are not going to miss out on what is between the cover of this book. 

I will be the first to tell you that i don't ever feel like i am doing this "teaching my kids about the Bible" well or the "right way" if there is even on.

We don't have regular devotion times in our home and sometimes i feel overwhelmed about how and were to start. if you are in that place too  maybe buy this book and start here.

This is where we are planning on starting in our home. As soon as we get it in the mail my plan and hope is to start working our way through it together as a family.
