Brilliant

  • M. Night Shyamalan
  • has done it again. my hubby and i went to see
  • Lady in the Water
  • today and it was great. in case you may not know it's a children's story that he wrote for his kids. the title of the book is
  • Lady in the Water a bedtime story
  • so now i have to go and get the book since i love books and especially children's books. but the movie was fantastic. i really enjoyed it. it isn't like the other movies that he's done but still amazing.

my husband and i saw the very first preview for the movie when we were visiting his parents over Christmas last year. we went to see Narnia and there was a preview for the movie. i don't care to much for scary movies so the first preview i saw of it i looked at my hubby and said, "i don't think i will be seeing that movie," and he was shaking his head no like me neither. then after the preview was over the screen went black and it said M. Night Shyamalan. we looked at each other with wide eyes and i said, "never mind." that's gotta tell you something about his movies when you see his name and you immediately want to see the movie. after seeing the movie today my hubby said he's got to be working on something else that's coming out soon. we're ready for the next one.

Yeah so I have to see that cause Brian is a huge M. Knight fan but I don't look forward to it. I'm afraid I'll be scared, so on a scale of 1-10, how bad is it?

    2. girl it's not scary at all. there are times when it is suspenseful and you may jump (as much as you would have in Narnia) but not scary. i think you will really like it. have you seen any of his other movies? what did you think?

    3. I'm catching up on my blogging instead of putting baby boy down for a nap.

*Glad to hear the great review of LITW. I haven't been disappointed with one of his movies yet.
*Sounds like you're having a great time with your nephew. I better not find out this way that you will be having a baby of your own! :-)
*Your work schedule sounds great! Is that M-T? So you're only working 4 days?! Yeah for you!
Still praying for Michael -- as we all know he hates to sit idle! ;-)

    4. don't worry you'll hear from me about the baby thing. i'll tell you before i post on the blog. :) the work sch. is wonderful. i'm really enjoying it. and yes michael hates to sit idle so continue to pray. he's been given good advise from lots of people. BE PATIENT. which is hard for just about anyone especially when you are ready to work and get a job to provide for your fam. i've been checking your blog often so i am excited to hear about that trip of yours and what's going on with you.
