it's funny how things work out.
actually God has a funny sense of humor, funny timing and a perfect plan.
my 2006 new years goals were posted here last january.
while i can't say i've completely stopped saying shut-up and complaining i've done better at it.
in october we found our very first house and became home owners in november.
we haven't yet moved in because of the repairs that we've been doing but that's coming in feb.
and after being a couple days late, taking one test but being to impatient to wait for the result, taking 2 more with a positive result and my first trip to the doctor tuesday we are officially letting the blog world know that we are pregnant.
i'm due september 4th and so excited for our first baby.
.....baby makes three.

Congrats! I'm so excited for you!!! Are you guys going to find out the gender? You better come down here after you have that baby, so we can meet him/her!
ReplyDeletethanks girl. we are really excited. i feel i like i need another adjective because i use that one lots but it's true. we are going to find out the gender and we will definatelly come down. my parents get us this year for Christmas so we will definatelly be there then.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That is soooo exciting! Major congratulations for you both! Please feel free to email me ANYTIME with pregnancy/baby questions. :) This is going to be a hugely exciting & changing year for you. Yay!

ReplyDeleteSeptember is such a great time to have a baby!!! Although the summer pregnancy does suck a bit!!
FYI- I'm a September baby as is my oldest daughter!
virgina thanks so much, we are very excited and i will definatelly email you if i have any questions about baby and pregnancy stuff.
ReplyDeleteamberj i can't believe that we are pregnant at the same time. i wish that we lived closer. maybe the babies will have the same birthday. i'm escited about the book that you were telling me about.
t-yeah you can spread the news. i still haven't gotten to tell kate but i will try before sunday. i sure do hope the you and b will be in nola for Christmas. that's our plan as of now and it's 11 months away.
wendi thanks so much. i'm happy about september but agree with you that i am not thrilled to be pregnant all through a southern summer. that's not going to be all that great but i plan to live in tanktops and hopefull i can find a cute pregnant swimsuit(yeah right huh) and live in that too. well only if i'm at a pool or the beach i guess. :)
That's so great! We are so excited for you. You are both going to be amazing parents. What wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteHey I just read about your little babe on the way. This is tons of fun, fun, fun!
ReplyDeleteI was pregnant last summer and it was hot. But thankfully not as bad as I expected it to be! We just did not spend a ton of time outside... I just have a few words of advise: icy-pops, A/C, pools, snowballs, ice water, ice tea, have fun!
H
justin, wendy and chloe thanks so much. we can't wait to meet this new little person.
ReplyDeletebrock, heather and boys thanks for the advice i know that all of those thing will be very helpful. thinking about cold stuff right now isn't appealing because it's so cold outside but i know that they will come in handy when the hot southern summer rolls in.
HEY! that is so cool. i wonder if the baby will come out with bright red hair and a bright red goatee. actually if it is a girl..that would be weird. it's almost midnight..i'm at work...and delirious. sorry. ya know 'erin' is a really great name. it has served me well over the years. and when did you tell T? i thought we were friends. (sniff sniff). fine...just know if you name the baby after her you can only buy it blue things and it will accumulate a pile of folded blankets at the end of it's bed that are never used. i can't wait to tell john. have you told michael yet? hehehe just kidding. i'm sure you told him right after you told your sister, right? keep us posted and we'd better see some pics of that belly.
ReplyDeletethe red gotee would just be weird. boy or girl! i wouldn't mind if the baby had red hair though. his red hair isn't the really red/orange red so i think that it would be pretty on a little girl. i'm not sure the name will be erin but thanks for the suggestion. and it won't be t- either so don't worry. you're so funny about the blue and the blankets though. and i may post pics of the belly. not sure about that one.
ReplyDeleteI read this you know...and you forgot the dried roses on the wall.
ReplyDeleteT
yes T i know you read this..that is why i wrote stuff about you in my comment. oh i totally forgot about the dead roses. gross. andy, don't you dare put up dead roses in your kids room. hey do you still pick at the skin on your fingers like right behind your fingernails? i have started doing that and today i made one bleed and have a band-aid on it. i have thought of you all day long...everytime i look at my band-aid.
ReplyDeleteCongrats you two! Your life will never be the same...only better!
ReplyDeletet- dead roses are gross. well at least the amount that you had was gross. and squeaky, i still pick the skin behind my finger nails. terrible habit. don't know where i got it from. need to stop. don't hurt yourself again doing it. :)
ReplyDeletekaren thanks. we can't wait. well maybe we can. we still need to move into our house. next month is the month. i know that life will be better though. when i see my nephew i love him so much and i've been told i'll love my own 100 times more.
