Three Things Thursday: "Lost Edition"
it's been a while since i've participated in three things thursday and after last nights "Lost" season finale in need to say some things about it. so here is my TTT...
1. did everyone get rescued off of the island? (at least everyone who are still alive and who were in the plane crash)
2. who is kate with and the end of the show? (the guy that she had to get back to)
3. who died and was in the casket in jack's flash forwards? and i know it THREE TT but i have another question.... why did jack say to kate that he was tired of lying? lying about what? okay so maybe that was two more questions.
oh who cares here are the other ones that i have......
who is naomi?
who does she work for if not penny?
why did she have a pic of desomnd and penny?
why couldn't charlie find a way out?
how did the original island inhabitants get there?
why is richard not ageing?
why is ben so controlling?
why is he afraid of people coming to the island?
what is he trying to protect it from or who?
is he afraid more dharma initiative people are coming since he killed them all?
so many questions and no answers till jan. 2008.
my hubby thinks the next three years will be about they trying to get back to the island.
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
anyone at all with answers or at least you thoughts on the matter.

Motherhood
after reading my good friends latest blog entry and then recieveing this in an email i felt compelled to post it. i hope everyone who reads this enjoys.
Gold, Common Sense and Fur ..........................By Linda C. Stafford
My husband and I had been happily (most of the time) married for five years but hadn't been blessed with a baby. I decided to do some serious praying and promised God that if he would give us a child, I would be a perfect mother, love it with all my heart and raise it with his word as my guide.
God answered my prayers and blessed us with a son. The next year God blessed us with another son. The following year, he blessed us with yet another son. The year after that we were blessed with A daughter. My husband thought we'd been blessed right into poverty. We now had four children, and the oldest was only four years old. I learned never To ask God for anything unless I meant it. As a minister once told me, "If You pray for rain, make sure you carry an umbrella."
I began reading a few verses of the Bible to the children each day as they lay in their cribs. I was off to a good start. God had entrusted me with four children and I didn't want to disappoint him. I tried to be patient the day the children smashed two dozen eggs On the kitchen floor searching for baby chicks.
I tried to be understanding when they started a hotel for homeless frogs in the spare bedroom, although it took me nearly two hours to catch all twenty-three frogs. When my daughter poured ketchup all over herself and rolled up in A blanket to see how it felt to be a hot dog, I tried to see the humor rather than the mess. In spite of changing over twenty-five thousand diapers, Never eating a hot meal and never sleeping for more than thirty minutes at a time, I still thank God daily for my children.
While I couldn't keep my promise to be a perfect mother - I didn't even come close - I did keep my promise to raise them in the Word of God. I knew I was missing the mark just a little when I told my daughter we were going to church to worship God, and she wanted to bring a bar of soap along to "wash up" Jesus, too. Something was lost in the translation when I explained that God gave us everlasting life, and my son thought it was generous of God To give us his "last wife."
My proudest moment came during the children's Christmas pageant. My Daughter was playing Mary, two of my sons were shepherds and my youngest son was a wise man. This was their moment to shine. My five-year-old shepherd had practiced his line, "We found the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes." But he was nervous and said, "The baby was wrapped in wrinkled clothes." My four-year-old "Mary" said, "That's Not 'wrinkled clothes,' silly. That's dirty, rotten clothes."
A wrestling match broke out between Mary and the shepherd and was stopped by an angel, who bent her halo and lost her left wing. I slouched A little lower in my seat when Mary dropped the doll representing Baby Jesus, and it bounced down the aisle crying, "Mama-mama." Mary grabbed the doll, wrapped it back up and held it tightly as the wise men arrived. My other son stepped forward wearing a bathrobe and a paper crown, knelt at the manger and announced, "We are the three wise men, and we are bringing gifts of gold, common sense and fur."
The congregation dissolved into laughter, and the pageant got a standing ovation. "I've never enjoyed a Christmas program as much as this one," laughed the pastor, wiping tears from his eyes. "For the rest of my life, I'll never hear the Christmas story without thinking of gold, common sense and fur."
"My children are my pride and my joy and my greatest blessing," I Said as I dug through my purse for an aspirin.
Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. Had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today! . Feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us.

This weekend
i ment to sit down and write about my weekend. it was a good weekend and one the i definatelly needed. so here it is.
on friday my hubby took me to the imax to see spiderman 3. it was really good and expecially when it's completely surrounding you. it was crazy how big it was and we had really awesome seats. if you get sick at stuff like that then i wouldn't recommend attempting to watch it in an imax theater. while we were at the movies my father in law painted the babies room for us. the dr said the i could do some painting as long as there was good ventilation but everyone has been giving me a hard time about not wanting me too so he did it and it looks great.
on saturday after my hubby woke up way to early to go to yard sales (i know he's crazy), he came home and took me strawberry picking. we got a gallon of strawberries and they were so stinkin' good that we polished them off in the weekend. we spent a good part of the day together just us and it was really good. we got some things done at the house and some shopping done and then he and my bro in law cooked out and i pigged out and it was so good.
then sunday came around and my honey bought me potted tulips for mothers day and we went to church where they had a baby dedication for mothers day and a friend of our dedicated their little boy. and then we had another cook out with my in laws and my sis in laws parents for mothers day and they guys did pretty much everything. it was really nice and i pigged out again. then my hubby and i went for a walk around the neighborhood and did somemore work on the house and then we watched the end of survivor and while we were pulling for yau-man we were satisfied with earl winning. it was a good weekend.

Random Tuesday and something extra
(1) Where did you go to elementary school? Saint Rosalie Elementary School
(2) What was your favorite end-of-school-year activity? i really can't remember. i guess getting out of school for the summer
(3) What did you always look forward to summer for? summer day camps, summer week over night camps, swimming, going to my grandparents camp in mississippi and playing in the creek, the summer reading program (that one was great Cheryl), the ice cream man, and the occasional family vacation (we didn't go every summer but we went some summers to different places).
(4) As summer approaches, what are you looking forward to this year? the sun (although i may be rethinking that as i get bigger with this baby), visiting family and friends on some weekend trips, reading, getting the house ready for the new little one that will be in our life and of course the new baby that will be here all to soon.
Join in the fun!! Post your answers here in my comment section,or post on your own blog (and tell us about it!)
the something extra: i'm not sure if i should take a poll on what names people like as a middle name for our boy or ask people what they think. my hubby and i have been going through names like crazy and not coming up with to many winners. the babys name is sawyer and so far the two that we liked as middle names were cohen and eli but now he likes my maiden name as well. help!!! need suggestions or thoughts on the three. if you don't know my maiden name then just leave a comment and i'll let you know. so there's it for the something extra.

Feeling Blue
i don't think that there is any other way of saying this...........it's a boy! :) we went back to the doctor on monday and found out. it didn't take long either. that's probably due to the large amount of cherry coke i consumed so that baby would move around a lotn. we are very excited and just wanted to spread the news.
