Feeling Blue
i don't think that there is any other way of saying this...........it's a boy! :) we went back to the doctor on monday and found out. it didn't take long either. that's probably due to the large amount of cherry coke i consumed so that baby would move around a lotn. we are very excited and just wanted to spread the news.

Hooray for boys!! :) I'm a little partial but I think it's great fun to have your first be a boy! Get ready for stepping on cars, building trains and playing all kinds of ball. ;) And an uncomplicated wardrobe -- boys clothes are sooo easy ... no tights, no hairbows, no combs (most of the time!), no black patent shoes ... low maintenance is good! :)
ReplyDeletesorry, squeaks ...you're not 100% accurate anymore ... ;)
ReplyDeleteI am sooooooooo excited for you and your silly hubby! I love love love that God gave us Andrew first. He's such a great brother, but we won't rush your little boy to have that responsibility just yet.
ReplyDeleteyet.
lots of fun! Boys are great! Life is just a little different with them around. Get ready to have tons of blue, green, farts, burps, toy snakes and frogs, and lots of love. The bond that you will create with your little son will be amazing. My little Tucker has turned into quite the 'mama protector'.
ReplyDeleteYEAH!!! I love having a boy -- as you know, since you and The Boy are like THIS.
ReplyDeleteThe best advice I can give from one mom-of-a-boy to another: just let it go.
whoa..hey ya'll. my girls can burp and fart and crash cars with the best of them. let me tell ya. and i'm not worried about my accuracy..you gotta get one wrong some time. unless the doctor is just putting andy and her hubby on.
ReplyDelete-c thanks so much. we are very excited about our little guy. he's been moving and thumping around in my belly and letting me know of the things to come. oh and the low maintaenace thing sounds great.
ReplyDeletealli- thanks too. i can't wait for the exciting experiance of a boy. having only a sister makes things scary since i wasn't raised around boys but it will an interesting experiance.
heather- thanks for preparing me for the things to come. can't wait. :) it will be an wild ride.
amberj- i'm scared but it sure is great to know all these women of boys to get some good sound advice from. i'm sure i'll need it.
squeaky- sorry you were wrong. and i hate to say it but that's just gross. i can't picture your lovely leslie beating out a boy in a burping or farting contest. but i can say that i know that girls can sometimes play just as hard as boys.
thank you all and keep me in your prayers as i'm embarking in uncharted waters.
Yay for Baby Boy!!! I only have girls, so I don't know if I would know what to do with a boy. But I know you will be great!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!
