Baby Boy News

on thursday we took him to have his next RSV shot. the appointment went great until it came time for the shot. they weighed him, 9lbs 9oz. the doctor said that he's doing really well with his weight. when it came time for him to get the shot the nurse put it in his leg and he turned beet red. he was almost purple and it wasn't until she took it out the he really let out a scream. after i scooped him up and held him for a couple of minuets he was okay. but while putting his all in one outfit on i noticed purple dots all over his jaw line and on his forehead. when we were headed out the nurse said that it was probably from him straining so hard with the shot and the doctor looked at it and assured us that it as okay and should go away. it's not saturday and they are still there but definitely fading. just pray that they completely go away.
he's doing so well. my mom came to stay with us for a week and my sister came for a couple of days and we had so much fun watching him laugh and smile at us. it was great.

The little dots are just little broken blood vessels and they will definitely heal. You probably don't remember but Jimmy HaHa shook me upside down and my whole face did the same thing from the pressure...and look at me now. Glad you had fun with your mom and L. Looking forward to hopefully seeing you at X-mas and meet the little man. Love you.

  4. Shot day stinks! But it is a necessary evil. I used to take care of babies with RSV and those guys are miserable. Hope you have a great time visiting with family.
