i'm taking my three things thursday post from what i wrote on cheryl's blogs comments from a couple of days ago.
1. favorite memories from the past summer---my hubby and i went to fiji on a dental missions trip and had such an amazing time there. it was a huge blessing that we were able to go.
2. favorite things about fall---the smells, the chill outside, apple cider, pumpkin bread and muffins, pumpkin carving
3. favorite costumes---i don't normally dress up for halloween but last year some friends of ours had a murder mystery party and the theme was story book characters and i was to be the queen of hearts from alice and wonderland and that was lots of fun. i even won the best costume.

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to have a murder mystery party, but it seems like so much work.
ReplyDeletei think it was but they had a lot of help. there was about 30 people there and the hosts provided the drinks and paper products and the food theme was fondue so they provided the cheeses, chocolate and sauses. they got fondue pots from friends coming and then everyone had a certain thing that they had to bring like meats, chips, pretzlez, bread, fruit. then they got the idea and the scripts from the internet somewhere. i guess google murder mystery parties or something like that. i think it was a lot of prep but it was worth it. my husband and i want to host one now that we have moved. maybe we'll have one next year or something. let me know how it goes if you decide to have one. if you have anymore questions i can answer them or ask my friend about it.
