Geaux......

.......Saints. congrats to the New Orleans Saints for playing a great game and winning. i don't watch much NFL football but i caught a little bit of the game last night and was excited to find the Saints winning. being from NOLA and all and it being such a great story how can you not be excited about the win. well unless you're a dallas cowboys fan. me, i'm not and never have been so i probably would have cheered for anyone besides the cowboys. (Cheryl i know you're a cowboy fan and Erin i'm not sure where you stand on the NFL and who you like but either good game.) more about the weekend later when i can post some pics.

oh and my intention was to get the house pics on a cd this weekend but that didn't happen. i'm a slacker.

  1. Hee hee . . . yes, I'm a HUGE Cowboys fan and I hated the way that game turned out! BUT . . . Drew Brees is an awesome QB, Reggie Bush is just awesome all around, and NO is a really good team! I hate that we got a loss (we need them all right now going towards playoffs), but I actually like NO too!

  2. i just love that NO has been such a sad team for the last, oh it seems like forever, i was a little girl when i remember them being good, but now they are doing great and it makes me happy. i'm sure the people in NOLA are happy too. something to cheer for and there's never a bad time for a party there. :)

  3. Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog. We are excited about the adoption from China and great to hear that you are thinking of that too.

The books you asked about are
So many books, so little time by Sara Nelson (this is basically about the author setting out to read so many books in a year and she writes about her experience)
The Many lives of Marilyn Monroe by Sarah Churchill (a book about the books that have been written on Monroe)
The Kalahari typing school for men by Alexander McCall Smith (the fourth, I think in his No.1 Ladies Dectective Agency series).

    Hope this is helpful.

i despise the cowboys and was so excited to see my saints win. i was watching at work which was more satisfying b/c everybody there had been trash talking the saints until the game got going...and then all got quiet. it was great!
