Happy Birthday To My Little Boy

here you are, my sweet baby boy on the day that you were born. you were so tiny and sweet. i will never forget your face. those eyes that looked into mine and the smile that you gave me when i finally met you.

now here you are so big and independent, a year later. it went way to fast. i love that you are growing up. that's what is suppose to happen. thank you for still letting me feed you your bottle and for still being so snugly.

i love the big boy in you but am grateful for the sweet baby that comes out every now and then. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE GUY. your life has blessed me immensely.

Our 4th of July

here we are watching the fireworks at bridgestreet. it was little guys first time to see fire works. we had him in his stroller at first and he wasn't really sure what to think about the colors and noises. i could see him getting scared so i picked him up and he sat on my lap the rest of the time and enjoyed them. my niece made her way into my hubby's lap and my nephew sat in his daddy's lap. we had a really good time.

this is my firework pics from 2 years ago. and this one is another one of my fave's. it was the first time that i ever tried to take pics of fireworks and it was so strange to me but i love it.

IN OTHER NEWS: little guy's two front teeth (E&F) have finally come through the gums. they have been hanging out up in his gums for forever. he finally worked them through and we are so thrilled.

What Do You Think?

so i finally found a layout that i like. i'm not a huge fan of real birds but i love this one. i love the colors and there are still spots/dots in the layout. so what do you think? i got the layout from here. there are really beautiful layouts that you can choose from for free or you can have her custom make one for her for a fee. go check it out.

The Park

here is little guy at the park. we've only been twice but he loves to swing on the swings. it was really sunny the day we took him and he finally let us put on his shades and actaully wore them the whole time. i'm sure he enjoyed swinging and being able to see too.

Strawberry Pickin'

here's my little guy on his first strawberry pickin' outing. i wasn't sure if i was going to let him have a strawberry but then i decided that he would probably really like it. once he got one in his hands he liked squishing it and had juice all over but it was great watching him.

Aubrey's First Birthday

here is my neice at her first birthday party this weekend. clearly she had a great time with her smash cake. it was a great time. it was the first time that i really saw a baby enjoy their birthday cake. i loved it.

Water

here is little guys first swim. we bought him a pool over memorial day weekend and put him in it on afternoon when it was somewhat cooler and the sun was hiding. i think that he liked it okay but he was also tired so there isn't much expression about the pool.

Cabin Update

the cabin is looking better and better. a couple of weekends my hubby and the in-laws went up and started to put up the siding. i think it looks pretty good. we are so excited to see this project get going and how it's coming along.
